where did you get John's dob from Sheila?

the one born in Little Hulton was born in 1841 which matches that baptism

Lancashire Birth indexes for the years: 1841
Surname Forename(s) Sub-District Registers At Mother's Maiden Name Reference
HULME John Little Hulton Bolton GRINDLE LH/2/350

he is also not with the family in 1841 which suggests his birth was after the census

the 1841 census for Little Hulton is actually on the free site lan-opc.org.uk

I would guess that is the right birth as the mmn is the same on the reg of his twin brother & sister George & Jenny (George died age 3 days) and the same siblings as on 1841, Richard & Jenny are the witnesses to his marriage to Hannah Bates

Yes, that is my great grand father. I am trying to get as much info as possible about my grand father James, born 1877. He had 11 children and I am his grand daughter from his daughter Ivy.

Both my grand parents died before I was born. I lost mum in 2008 but still have my auntie Lenora who is 91 years old and last of James children by Martha.

Just found out James and Martha were only 21 years old when they married.

Welcome to the boards Sheila.
Firstly, check for any matches using 'search all trees' - found in drop-down menu in search box above right.
Then you need to specify what you mean by 'any info' so people can provide help.

I am setting up my family tree and have info back to my great grand father John Hulme b 02/02/1840 in Little Hulton. Is there any one out there with anymore info or even a relative? I am the daughter of Ivy Cowburn, who was the daughter of James Hulme who was the son of John Hulme.
