I posted this request couple of years ago to no avail so thought I would try again.
I am desperate for any information on Minnie Louisa Varney - born in 1906 in Holborn. All I have is her birth certificate but absolutely nothing else is coming up. Found her in 1911 census with her father but now am stuck! Don't know if she had siblings, whether married or when died. So frustrating. Does anyone have this lady in their tree?

More information was given on previous thread which had no replies

I am desperately trying to find out any information about Minnie Louisa Varney, born 1906 in Holborn to Thomas Varney(b.1878) and Lillian Thorogood (b.1870). I can find nothing about her apart from her birth certificate. Minnie had a son in 1936 named Barrie Victor or Victor Barrie Varney. He was born out of wedlock and father is unknown on his birth certificate. Minne left him when he was 2 or 3 years old. Barrie thinks the last time he saw her was around 1943 and has vague recollections of her maybe being in Bournemouth around that time. All my searches have been in vain. Anyone who may know of these Varneys? Maybe Minne had siblings? Maybe she got married? Who knows? All help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

1901 shows another son Ernest Edward born 1883 this son is shown in 1911 as living at 41, Brooksby Street with his wife married 4 years looks like one child could Minnie be theirs, there is an alteration on the number of children for them could be one or none.

Also she was born 30th July 1906........ Lilian Thorogood was her mother.

Looks like Lilian was born 1884 in india and had an elder brother with the surname of Barry!!

Thanks so much to all who have posted on my query. Some useful info given especially from Batmans Daughter - thank you. I have Thomas Varney Jnr and Lilian Thorogood as Minnies parents, but was unaware that Thomas may have married again! This info can maybe help me move futher now. Thanks again.
