I am trying to find details on my grandfather who married Agnes Helen Gemmell in Scotland on 30.12.1915. Apparently he or his family was Irish from County Cork. He was born in 1892. Probably Roman Catholic. |

Thankyou. I haven't been able to get a birthdate for William. I had recorded Mary's surname as "Mailey". I have not been able to trace Mary or Michael, despite researching all census records, marriage certs, births. I will keep trying. |

If you look at the 1901 ErinGB posted, and look on the N and B forms, you'll see the house is situated in Castlrea poor law union (in 1911, it says on the back of the A form). The poor law union (nearly always?) coincided with the civil registration district. |
