Find Ancestors

Im trying to find Charles born July 1868, Rochdale.

In 1891 he is with wife Mary and son John W. in Heap, Lancs

I have Mary 1901 with sons John and Frank and 1911 with son John, stating on both she is married but Charles is not with her.

I think I have him in 1901 as a boarder at a lodging house in Rochdale(although he states he is single-I can only find one birth for a Charles in Rochdale from 1865 through to 1873) but cannot find him 1911 or an age appropriate death record.
Any help would be appreciated

Looking less likely that this is your chap but we might as well check him out to eliminate him.

This may be a bit of a long shot but Charles brother Richard was born 1862 in Rochdale and is also living away from wife 1901. I cant find him 1911 so I wonder if there is a record of him travelling abroad. Would you mind checking for me please. Thanks
