Find Ancestors

I recently found that my great great grandmother Harriet Ann Kirby had an illigitimate child called Arthur William Kirby before she married my great great grandfather Charles Lamb. Harriet was living at Wyers Farm, Stratfield Saye, Hampshire with her parents and this is where Arthur was born and baptised. He was born 6 Jun 1883 and was baptised on 26 Aug that same year. I'd like to know what happened to him. I haven't found a death record for him but he isn't on the 1891 census with Harriet and her husband Charles. Either he died, went to live with one of Harriet's relatives or was given away. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the details - I had Harriet's baptism but not her birth date so thak you for that.

Up Somborne is quite a distance from Startfield Saye - had a look at the family and not sure who the parents (Charles and Ann) are or if connected at all - they are from Up Somborne too. There are quite a few Kirby's living there in 1911 so I will have a look in to this in more detail.

Think I might have found him although his place of birth is listed as Earley, Berkshire and not Stratfield Saye, Hampshire. However, his mum did live in the Earley area after leaving Stratfield Saye.

The other Kirby mentioned in the household is Harry Wm Kirby who is Harriet Ann Kirby's brother so I'm pretty sure this is him.
