Hello Unicorn - you'll need to go to Scotland's People to view the 1911 Scottish census - pay per view but reasonably priced.

William Mair Watt was born in 1900. There is only one hit for this name so you can search year by year to get the match. It was in Kirkcaldy, Fife too.

Unicorn,
Like Marie Celeste said Scotlands People can be manipulated to give the exact info that you are looking for.
I did check SP and work the dates ( no purchase is necessary)
With the info from the censuses, it was apparent that Alexander was unmarried at 1891, yet married at 1901 with a son b 1894.
Alexander and Margaret probably married between 1891 and 1894

The 2nd son on the 1901 return was called William Mair Watt..... as 2nd son is usually named for his mother's father.... so I took an educated guess that Alexander Watt married Margaret MAIR
Once confirmed, I manipulated the info again to get the exact year. 1892
Then place.... it wasn't Fife so I checked East Lothian.. again a match.
To establish which parish... highight 5 on the list at a time until you get a match... then check each one of those 5 in turn until the correct one shows a match... DIRLETON.
Even if Margaret's name hadn't been Mair, manipulation using the alphabet (Surname begins with) works too. Each time you get a match, try for the next letter in the name.
It is pretty easy when you know how!
