Can anyone help please

Trying to find parents of
William Whitehouse born 1783 said to have been born at Haverah Park - and we know there are various spellings of this Acorah Park, Averah Park etc.

He was married at Kirkby Overblow in 1810 to Sarah Walmsley. His youngest son Tom Whitehouse born 1822 is the line we come down.

We have a wealth of information about generations from here down but just don't seem to be able to get any further back with any certainty. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A google search throws up information about the medium Derek Acorah, perhaps we could use him to find it.

Added:
Haverah Park gives Knaresborough.
'HAVERAH PARK, (extra-parochial) in the lower-division of Claro, liberty of Knaresborough; 3 miles W. of Harrogate, 7 miles from Knaresborough, 8 from Otley. Pop. 87. '
