Could someone with a subscription possibly look up these records for me?

SMITH Andrew ? WO97 Chelsea VIEW VIEW
SMITH Andrew ? WO97 Chelsea VIEW VIEW
SMITH Andrew ? Renfrew, Renfrewshire WO97 Chelsea VIEW VIEW

My Soldier is Andrew Ritchie SMITH b. 1854 Scotland Renfrewshire/Lanarkshire area.

I think his career is like this from Gazette records:

1891 London Gazette - The Suffolk Regiment : Quartermaster-Sergeant Andrew SMITH to be Quatermaster, with honorary rank of Lieutenant

1892 Marriage Cerificate state he is a Lieutenant Quartermaster with the 1st Suffolk Regiment

1901 London Gazette -The Suffolk Regiment: Quartermaster and Honorary Lieutenant Andrew Smith is granted the honorary rank of Captain

1906 London Gazette -The Suffolk Regiment: Quartermaster and Honorary Captain Andrew Smith is granted the honorary rank of Major

1908 London Gazette -The Suffolk Regiment: Quartermaster and Honorary Major Andrew Smith is placed on retired pay

1911 Census - states he is a Retired Army Officer Lecturer

Would like to know if any of the records on FMP are for him?

Thanks

Katie

Why have you sent me a link to my other post?
I didn't know how to change the title on it to ask a different question so posted this...

Had a look Katie and none of them are your man. One record is from 1814, one from 1816 and one is for a man who was discharged as a Private in the Grenadier Guards.

I think Reggie just wants you to keep everything about this person on the same thread. You have a lot of information on the other thread and this saves duplication of records.

Just post a question and your thread will go back to the top of the board.
