I need help please! In my tidying up loose ends activities, I have realised that I have mislaid Leonard Myatt & family in 1891.

Below are census returns for them 1881 and 1901. Please note it is NOT the family put at the bottom, just to save you time - they are accounted for 1881

Father Thomas was an engine fitter, and for a time at least worked on the railways which involved some moving around, so this might be a factor.

I have looked for any variants, even no surname, and also included Wyatt as this is a common mistake with this name. Many thanks for any assistance you can give me.

Thanks for the responses Reggie and Vera.

Vera, the Leonard Mynett 1891 could be a good call, but I don't think it's him. He was a jeweller's polisher 1901, and similar 1911. I can't see him as a dairyman's assistant, though not impossible obviously.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I will check out that Leonard and see if I can exclude him.

Reggie, I do not know when Mary died for sure, but suspect this might be her:

Deaths Dec 1888 (>99%)
Myatt Mary Ann 54 Birmingham 6d 101

I am starting to think they might just be missing.

Thanks for looking Vera.
I have checked out Leonard Mynett, and he seems to be John Leonard, according to an Ancestry tree anyway, so not mine it seems.
Never mind. At least it's not just me!
Thanks again.

Is it? Now, that is interesting. Thanks for looking Vera, you never know, that might just be the answer.
I wonder if I should splash out and get that death cert!
Incidentally, I have managed to locate son James 1891, so that is something at least!

Maybe so. In fact almost certainly as the name seems very rare - hardly surprising! Interesting what you find isn't it?
