Many thanks all, gives me something else to go on............Am more concerned with Mary instead of Hannah as she was my GGG Grandmother.. Family bible has part of page missing with crucial writing..........typical.

had a John Holmes Boot and shoemaker, Market place Uttoxeter listed in 1828-9, so he was still alive then.
