I have a cousin in Canada. Robert Pearson born 1940 in Canada.

He has vague memories of his fathers (Robert) birthplace.

I am trying to narrow it down.

Huddersfield is another suggestion of a birthplace now.

I am told that his birthdate is 21/6/1905 now. Nala

I was looking at that birth too, Maddie but I've found this death which would suggest that Robert was born in August

Getting back to the Robert Pearson that Maddie found in Sheffield in the 1911. I notice that alongside him there is a Beatrice Pearson aged 11. There were 2 Beatrice Pearson births registered in Sheffield 1899/1900.

I wonder whether Robert and Beatrice were siblings either abandoned or Orphaned. Since the Robert Nala is enquiring about turned up in Canada I wonder whether he was sent there as a "Home child".
