Many Belated Thanks to Dea MarieCeleste and Michele for their help with the above family...
The "Error Message" continued late into last night ...seems to be resolved now.

The information you have found has opened up another interesting aspect of the original query...but I had better get the dinner on !!

Erin - is it the Mcauleys or the Taylors that you're following, or both?

If it's both then I guess we need to fathom pout what Elizabeth Taylor snr maiden name was (hope she was a Renwick!).

There're 2 cemeteries just a couple of km N of White Rock:

If you click on the map link, you'll see the other (catholic) cemetery 1 km to E.

MC posted a likely Ohio birth. Unfortunately, apart from maybe a dozen pages, the 1890 US census for Ohio went up in flames. I don't know if they had any state censuses, but they would have been in 1885 & 1895 when our mob were back in the UK.

North Lawrence is abt 20km W of Canton, also in Stark Co. Canton's maybe 70 km due W of the PA state line, abt 15 km from the N tip of WV. I think N Lawrence's on the N edge of the Ohio coalfield - I'ld expect our Richard Snr to be working as a coal miner in 1890

So which side of the edge is N Lawrence -here's a page from the US 1880:
http://archive.org/stream/10thcensus1067unit#page/n325/mode/1up
You can click thru the adjacent pages and see plenty of coal miners.

Of course it's far from conclusive, but I would view this as tending to corroborate the view that that birth index record is our Liz.
