His birth shows on ancestry, not free bmd.

Hi Margee yes it does say Nephew on the death cerificate it says Paul Leslie Mulcahy.

Paul as showing on free bmd also has a brother, born 1962.

Their father appears to have been born in Neath in 1935.

I was going to ask if Paul could be Thomas's son, but Thomas died:

Why do you believe Paul was Leslie's son, did it say nephew on the death certificate?

Did Leslie have a sister Rose? There are only 3 Mulcahy children on FreeBMD with mother's maiden name Bass. Thomas, Lily and Leslie.

Edit: Oops! Sorry, just noticed Rose Elizabeth on the 1911 census aged 4 months, before they put mother's maiden name on FreeBMD.

I don't like to post names here for people who might be still living but if you go to FreeBMD the only Paul close enough has a different mother's maiden name. Then check marriages for those two names and it's not Leslie Mulcahy. Mind you these events were in Birmingham so I don't know if they're yours.

thanks margee but have a paul mulchay on the death certificate of his aunty rose his father sister she lived in worthing died in 2001. I tried his Address he put onthe cerificate but he had move a way

Yes I see Leslie's marriage but Paul's birth on FreeBMD has different parents. (If he's your Paul.)

Leslie's marriage is on FreeBMD. There is only one child listed with that mother's maiden name, not Paul. There is a birth of Paul with different mother's maiden name but I can't see that marriage.

Just noticed, too, that Paul had different father, not Leslie.

Do you know who Leslie married, and whether they are both still alive?

If you go to FreeBMD and click on Births, surname Mulcahy and mother's maiden name Bass you'll find 2 other children, 1912 and 1914.
