I am looking for Hollands I have a number who lived in Edenbridge Kent in the Chalk Pits area. I would like to know if the same family also lived at COWDEN a villiage not to far away. If so any details would be great.

Kind wishes

Trevor

Ancestry shows about 30 or so Hollands living in Edenbridge at each census and about half that number at Cowden.

Hi,

If you put the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above, you will see that quite a few members on here have Hollands from both Edenbridge and Cowden in their trees.

If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owners. Cx.

Hi
Thank you for taking an interest in my message.
My wife's maiden name is HOLLANDS she was born in Leigh Kent but going back a generation we know her father was born in Paradise Row, Clay Pits Edenbridge in 1912 along with his brothers and sisters.
We have traced back to William Hollands who married Ann Clark they were both born c. 1924. That's it at the moment at Edenbridge.

We see that a family of Hollands appear in the village of COWDEN just a few miles away but to date we have not managed to establish if any of these are related. It would help a great deal if this was proved one way or another.

Maybe someone has the answer !

Kind regards

Trevor
