Do you know the parents of Rosalind Turner as no obvious birth in 1898 or 1899

Had another look at 1911 census I am not certain but looks more like Sumner

Astra

Astra Report 25 Jul 2012 19:01

It is Sumner. There is no Elsie may Turner born in Southam. So it is definitely the wrong family.

Births Jun 1901 (>99%)

Many thanks Astra + GlitterBaby.

Only just returned to the thread and yes - you are correct - that is my aunt mistranscribed on 1911 census.

Wasn't sure why i couldn't find her, then found the Turner name on the free-to-search option on the 1911 website...added Fenny Compton (plus new info. that she had a sister called Rosalind) & your kind replies proved that my hunch was right.

Your help is most appreciated !
