Hi Kath

Thanks for the information, I can't be sure that is the Richard I am looking for but he would be around the right age in 1908 and his enlistment papers state that he enlisted at Northam, WA and Freemantle is in WA. I don't have any record of an Edward Dunstan.
He married Johanna Oldrieve 23/6/1917 Truro, Cornwall so he must have had leave in England.

Lyne.

Alviegal - if you're using IE8 then to stop all that white space there is a little icon that looks like a piece of torn paper - it's next to the website address bar at the top. Click on that until and it changes colour, then click on it for any other tabs you have open.

Then when you copy and paste in future the spaces should be gone.

By Richard's records online at the NAA

his next of kin was his father, then crossed out and his wife Johanna was named, further into his records Johanna's name became SMITH.

EDIT..there is also a copy of their marriage in his records
