Hi All,

Could someone please lookup in the 1841 census:

Ann Ellwood née Simpson b c1770 widow

Her husband William died just before the census on 2/4/1841 Bongate (Appleby) Westmorland. Ann registered the death. His burial record states he was living Gale Houses Bongate. There are no deaths for an Ann Ellwood until 1842 according to freebmd.

I have found her children in 1841 except Margaret b1809 Bongate (Appleby) & Mary b1813 Bongate. Mary did not marry John Dufton.

I have found the following entry:

Thanks but cannot be her. Too young as she married William in 1794 St Michael's Bongate Appleby. Her first child was born 1797 Bongate.

I keep being drawn back to Vera's 1841 census find with Matthew & Mary Robinson.

I know the age for Ann doesn't look quite right but we all know that the ages in the 1841 census could be very out!

It's just there is this marriage
