Can anyone help me please, Florence H Colquhoun married James Robertson in Edinburgh 1946. They had two sets of twins one of them being Stuart Russell Robertson born 1948 Edinburgh. The family emigrated to Canada in 1949. I have found them on the passenger lists leaving for Quebec Canada 19th August 1949 on the ship Scythia. How can I find out what happened to them after that date.??

You'd be better off putting CANADA in your title...your interest in these people isn't in Scotland

Have you checked 'search trees'? You should.......................

Hello

Yes I have tried search trees with no luck and I have now put Canada in my title.

Hello thanks for your reply. I know that they went to Canada in 1949 as I have found the passenger lists for them which shows they had three children though it does not name them. From what I have found out they settled in Saskatoon. There were no Obituaries for either of the parents who died in Edinburgh Scotland and no wills either.

Valerie

So Valerie believes they settled in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Hello Yes that was my post on Ancestry, but did not have any luck.!! I am not 100% sure if it was Saskatoon they went to I only know it was Canada.!! I have tried the white pages as suggested but again no luck. I have found out that Canada do not have recent BMD records online like we do. I am therefore still stuck.

David - go to your very first post dated 21 July - there should be a button that says something like "mark this as unanswered" (only you can see it because it's your thread). Just press that.
