All sources on A refer back to a Robert Smith on GR...for John Walter and four siblings

Plenty on his brother William Henry but again a lot refers back to this gentleman on GR.

The only thing that comes up on ancestry is this:-

..............but as it doesn't give any info on age I can't say if this is your man????

Hi,
I know I have asked about this person before but no results.
John Walter Uings. B1894. India.
I do not have access to Military Records and when I did a search there were two enteries coming up. I have seen his Army birth, but nothing else.
Could someone who has access to Military Records kindly look up this person and let me know what it says. I really have drawn a blank with him. Other family member born overseas I can account for.
