i finaly got intouch with my cousin hes in his late 70s hes williams son
so got bits of info but nothing about his grandad thomas francis

I posted the 1932 marriage ages ago..................obviously I wasted my time

But if you want William's mother's name just BUY HIS BIRTH CERT - you're making hard work of something incredibly SIMPLE

i didnt even know thomas first wifes name till today nor her surname

uncle william was thomas son by his 1st marriage my nan was margaret forsyth ive llooked on freebmd and theres a few if i could fine uncles williams mums surname id be ok aunt evelyn has been dead since 2006 so no help to me ive not duplicated owt on her not been her awhile

down as daughter married name hughes
and other informant was my aunt evelyn step daughter

William's parents CLAIM to have been married for three years

According to freebmd their was 2 births for a thomas francis maher around that time

one in 1883 and one in 1884
