Yes That is the David I'm trying to get the info for apparently the 1910 census says he arrived in 1908.
I was hoping if the passenger list was found it might have given the address he was living at in England or next of kin?

His father was an upholsterer ... trimmer ?may be

none of the childrens names match any in the family

Don't know where this other person got born Manchester from ?? nothing on those censuses to say Manchester.

The one who landed in USA Sep. 1910 was aged 30, a carriage trimmer, born England. Last permanent residence was Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Nearest relative in country whence came was uncle, David Errington, Dungannon? P.O., Ontario. The border crossing was Detroit, Michigan not St. Albans, Vermont as transcription says. (They say that because that's where the records were kept) He was travelling by Grand Trunk Railway.

Edit: oops, there's a next page. It says he had been in USA before from Oct.1908 to 19 Aug. 1910. BUT it says he was born Penrith, Cumberland so not yours?

Edit again: Another entry for this border crossing says he first landed in Canada 19 May 1908 at Quebec aboard the Lake Manitoba. It confirms he was born Penrith, Cumberland.

David came to the US via CANADA
He travelled aboard the Lake Manitoba from Liverpool, arriving 19 May 1908
His Destination was Quebec. He was 21 yrs old, single, from Cumberland and was a coach builder.
Next time he is found is the travel info of Sep 1910 found by Margee, but David was already married by then.
Just need to fill the gap

I know the thread is marked as answered but just incase you return.... you are correct.
David Richardson in Wisconsin is definitely not the man you are looking for.
That one was indeed from Cumberland. His father was not Scottish and was called John Richardson of Cumberland
