Just looking through the deaths on Ancestry my ancestor appears twice with the same details - any reason or is this a fault with data input from ancestry

With parent's consent, Yes.

Will look for another, but as this lady is probably living, could we ask what your interest/relationship is please?

Mark

Mark Report 17 Jul 2012 15:49

There is another lady born 1945 carrying the same name as the one sent, mmn Truman, born in Nottingham reg.

I am assuming that Ivy's maiden name was Large and she was the mother

Nothing else obvious is coming up on Ancestry, although if anyone else cares to look?

Pity she doesn't have a middle name!

The one born 1945 Nottingham reg probably married in 1967....but will send the details just in case.

Although post WW2 people were more mobile, they did tend to stay in the same general area to where they grew up. Of course, there are exceptions

Any further thoughts Mark? The only way to be sure is to order one of them, if GRO permits it.

At some point for these more recent events you have to supply extra details which won't be found on the index.
