Hi i am trying to trace a marriage for a joseph egan who lived near to egton bridge whitby i have found his grave he died in1978 and also his widow elsie died 1996 but have no idea when they married or her maiden name he was born 1894 and she was born 1908 can any one help many thanks david hullah

Where was his death registered?

This is the only one in 1978 with a birth year remotely close to that which you quote
