hello vera,i was given the info from her daughter who herself no,s very little of her mother or her family her name is fayn i think thats how its spelt but everyone calls her fay. we have only just found out that we are cousins as her dad is my great uncle ,so finding out more about them would help her piece her past, we are from newforst gypsy stock so its very hard to piece together as they didnt always register the birth of children when born staight away some times it was a year or so later at gatherings regards unity

Who told you where she was born please?

Did she have children? Where did you get the middle name Phyllis when her marriage and death are recorded with no middle name?

As Vera has said, you need her marriage certificate especially as you are unsure of when and where she was born.

If she was three years younger than stated on the death record then she would have been born 1913:

England & Wales, Death Index: 1916-2006
Name: Amy Wells
Birth Date: 10 Oct 1910
Date of Registration: Nov 1986
Age at Death: 76
Registration district: Southampton
Inferred County: Hampshire
Volume: 20
Page: 1089

Do you mean 3 years older?

Getting the marriage certificate would give you her fathers name and occupation.
