Hi people.

I am trying to find Willliam Garfield between the 1891 and 1911 census'.
I have him on both of these but cant find anything for 1901.
He was born 1862ish in Hanbury,Droitwich, Worcestershire. I believe he married a lady with the name Alice.

If I have the right one on the 1911 census his wifes name is Alice. I think they only had a son William and his family living with them. Living in Vauxhall.

Thanks to everyone
Glitterbaby and AnnCardiff have the right one. Williams parents were George and Harriet. Anne I believe was his sister, who looks like she too had a son called William.
I cant seem to find the elder William (B1862) anywhere during the 1901 census.
I am a bit confused about the Ann Garfield - Hunt relationship. At the moment I only have an Ann B.1869 in my tree, this marriage would have only had her at 14. Perhaps this might be a generation further back, I will have to look at this.

I do think that your William died and the one you're spotting later on is actually the William Henry Garfield born 1860.

William Garfield aged 50 born Hanbury
William Henry aged 27 son plus his wife and family.

This William is my gt grandfathers brother. My Gt grandfather George Garfield. AnnCardiff found the family earlier on this post.

i might be getting confused too many people with the same names. But I think this is the one I am looking for the elder one.I think this is really going to take some studying. LOL..unless I get peed off with it first..LOL

I think you could be right after all.

I was looking through some paperwork of my late grandfather, and came across a scribbled note.
Uncle William shot himself Goose hill.
I know this is a bit vague but it might be the missing link . I now have to try and find out what this might be.
Once I get the bit between my teeth I am like a dog with a bone and wont give up.
