Margee,

I have looked at FMP and Family Search and I couldn't find a marriage for Francis and Sarah. I tried Cook and also Cooke but no joy unfortunately.

I don't think you should have marked this as answered, Antony. The 1851 census was only a possibility, no proof that it's your Frank Cook & Sarah Bishop. I can't find their marriage.

Once something is marked as answered people stop looking, thinking you have found what you're looking for.

Hi Antony,

I believe I have found James death.

1355/1929
COOK JAMES F
FRANCIS SARAH
GRANVILLE

Often NSW death certificates will have how long in the colony if the informant knew this information.

There is a transcription service offered by Joy Murrin who are cheaper than ordering from NSWBDM. You will need to quote the reference number 1355/1929. BTW 1929 is the year his death is recorded.

Trying to find details on Frank and Sarah, the only info I have is the marriage certificate of their son James cook to Emily witts in Sydney Australia in 1880 which states James was born in England and his parents are Frank Cook and Sarah Bishop, his age is not stated but I think he would have been born Abt 1850, hoping someone out there will have this family in their tree
