Thanks guys.
Glad to know I'm not alone in missing the old site.

I liked the old one because you could move along a street from house to house and pick up other family members along the way!!

It's better for searching because on the old versions both first and surnames were mandatory fields...now they're not.

You have to be quick to get to the thing Beverley is referring to though :-(

As with most ' site upgrades' - it's far poorer than that which it replaced

Thanks Beverley.
At least that's something.

It used to be that when you entered a name you had ALL the resources come up. 1881 census, BMD, Ancestry files and Pedigree files.

I'm blowed if I can think what benefit the new system is.

Hi

If you search for a name, then at the bottom of the resulting page you can still click on 'Search results from user-submitted trees' , which takes you to an ancestral file.
Though maybe this isn't what you are referring to?

Since familysearch.org revamped their site, what happened to the Pedigree resource files that you used to be able to access ?

Submitted records granted, but they were a wealth of information.
Are they now only available on subscription sites ?
