Hmm well that is interesting cos Eva jnr was born c1891 (she died in 1955 aged 63)...Her birth was not registered unfortunately.

I need to keep looking I think!

You can search all US censuses at
https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=UNITED_STATES
(1870 has a free image, but you might have to do a free rego first to see it)

You can also search 1880 at Ancestry for free - it's the same transcription as FS. Again, you might have to do a free rego first.

Looking for info for on the above man who was in Bunbury area of Western Australia in the 1890s and had 2 children with an Aboriginal woman named Eva Frances (aka Chloe). It seems he also fathered an Alfred MIPPY. Not sure about that one. George probably born c1840-1860.

I have found info on Eva simply through Google and Trove, including her burial in 1930 (note, the marriage to Arthur Samuel SAMBO was actually her daughter Eva Frances' 'marriage', not registered; then married Reginald Walter PROSSER - my connection...I have this info, including the tree published in a book on Aborigines in SW Australia by Lois Tilbrook, and info about the children). The other daughter of George & Eva was Daisy Elizabeth (m. Chas Pell 1924; she had a son Albert Wm Wattling b. 1914).

However, I am not able to find anything about George. His arrival in Oz, departure or death...

He is not a blood relative, as Reg was the stepfather of Eva jnr's children with Arty Sam, but it is an interesting story nonetheless and I'd love to track him down. Reg was my husband's great uncle.

Any help appreciated!
