yes 1882 yorkshire....there are two of them on freebmd...1st Q and 4th Q...i dont know which is mine...but eighter is the coucin of the other....the one i have been researching for over 5 yrs became a domestic gardener as i have recentley discovered....and working in tatton park on 1911 census as a gardener....i lose all trace of him after this date.....in 1934 he is mentioned in his fathers will (Samuel abbott)....i am still not sure if he is married or single in 1934....Arrrrggghhh!! :-S

Thank Gins.....that thread ime afaid is abt done N dusted...as to my didsovery that Richard Abbotts father turned out to be Thomas Abbott....there is a family on here researching that Richard and Flora line (not mine howeva) :-( :-(
