Looks like a locally common surname

This is the only likely marriage I can see, despite what it says on the census.

Not sure what info you are looking for. The census will not give you the details of the deceased child unless, as in one of my own family, they had noted the name of the child and then crossed them off.

If the child was born after the 1901 then all you can really do is try to narrow down the possibles using FreeBMD.

Pre 1901 you might be able to find the family and get the name of the child.

Hello everyone,
I have been trying to research my family history and have found that my great great grandfather, Joseph Skitt, had had two children in the 1911 census however one of them had died.

How do you find information on the child??? :-S :-S
