The only detail that is wrong about this entry is her age for she was born in 1903.Maybe it would have caused a scandal if she was travelling with a much older man..... I must thank you for your researching Florence for me , it was very kind of you to take the time. ...E

thanks everyone for researching Florence for me. Cupcakes seems to fit best for her return to Australia. Now I have to find what happened to her after she arrived until her death which I believe to have been in Australia in 70's 0r 80's.

PM from Elizabeth

*****************

Sorry as records in Ireland were burned in 1922 I have not been able to get her d-0-b except for the year 1903.

I know she first emigrated to Australia in 1923 on the ship Baradine and was sent back to England as she was ill .

Then she emigrated again to Australia around 1938-1939. Either way it was just before WW2.

As far as I know she asked her brother could she come back to stay with him in Coventry as she had retired,

She did not return. This happened in the late 70's to 80's so I assume she died in Australia..And as far as I know she never married.

Sorry I haven't got more info. Thank you for replying ....

Sorry - are you trying to find her in Australia, or in N Ireland along with her ancestors?

If mainly Australia, it migh help to edit your title to include the word 'Australia'.

Do you have her approx year of birth please, and did she emmigrate with a husband (in case we need to look under a different surname)

EDit - doh! Born 1903
