Although not a registration, you might find some death information appears quite quickly online at the following link

http://www.iannounce.co.uk/

I went to a funeral this week and the person is mentioned on that site, as the family had placed a notice in the local paper.

Hello Dea, Gwyn and Andy

Thank you all for your replies, I thought that he online records were to 2006
but wasn't really sure

Gwyn thanks for for that web site it will be very useful, Andy thanks for the offer of a look up, the death record was for John C Hill, not sure of a date he died before 2006 and resided in Newport Pagnall, Bucks
He left a widow Gwendoline A Hill nee Barnham, now deceased around 2008/9, very vague I know but that's's all I have to go on at the moment

Kind regards

Tom

I think to be absolutely certain, you will need a copy of their marriage cert for full name and age.

Hi All
Dea , I think JCH was abt 1921/3

Andy, you have found the marriage, it was in 1949, Kensington Gwen
was 22 at the time of the marriage, the age gap looks about right with what Kathleen has found

Kath, yes I think you are correct re the death JCH as I looked at that
record myself

I'm sorry to be so vague but its very awkward to ask questions as it's not family, if you understand !!

Many thanks to you all for your help

Kind Regards

Tom
