Sorry it's took me a little while to respond, I've been taking a little bit of a break for GR as I working very hard on a document I had to send out which was very in depth (some 35 pages once edited). I have nothing to conflict this information but I will be coming back to the Greenall family in the near future.

I think back in those days everyone traveled across by ship didn't they? If so would there be travel itineraries for them?

From the evidence above it does look as though the family were definately in Coventry in 1881 and remained there until at lease 1888.
The children were all born and baptised in Coventry and father Joseph died there in 1887 and daughter Elizabeth in 1888.
It is possible that mother Elizabeth remarried, although I can't find anything conclusive for this, and so the family are under another name in 1891??
The Mary L. Greenall I found in America, could be Mary Louisa Greenall who was born in 1881, but my subscription to ancestry doesn't allow me to view any records for America.
Maybe someone else can take a look?

I've looked for info for this family but can't seem to find anything, however, I did find this which makes me think that the family,or at least part of it, could have emigrated?

Hello,

I've been doing some research on the Greenhall's who are an offshoot of my family and a whole branch of them disappeared. I'm testing a theory that they all moved to Salford from Birmingham as there are weddings around the same time for all of the following were born in Moseley/Aston/Birmingham:

Amy born 1875
Joseph born 1877
Mary born 1881

The parents were Joseph Greenall born 1851 and Eliza Horsefall born 1849.
