	Incidentally, the image for that 1841 Census posted by Ivy shows John Abbott Jun, age 55, b.ca 1786, Innkeeper John Abbott Sen, age 85, b. ca 1756, no occupation John Abbott Jun, age 25, b.ca 1816, Butcher so quite clearly defines them sylvia

The associated image on the FMP site has the master of the ship, married, age 45, born Beverley (i.e. fits with the 1816 birth date); the three crew include another John Abbott, seaman, 18, unmarried. :-) Sylvia

	A Public Family tree on ancestry has the following on the family from the 1841 Census ........... although such trees should be treated with caution ............ too many people copy information willy nilly without checking details! 	why have the names been duplicated?

	Probably an error by the transcriber! ............. as one cannot open the image, it is impossible to see whether the names are also duplicated on the original. As I said, you have to go to Scotland's People, and pay per view to see the actual census image.
