Sorry. Am not used to forums Ann. Thank you so much for that story. My great grandfather, Charles Thomas Pitcher, Williams great grandson, was also a baker in Bridge Rd, Itchen, Southampton until it was destroyed in the last war. Amazing how far back it goes with the baker side. |
