please can you help i am trying to trace him on censuses as i am finding him hard this is all the info i know

john jame gile born about 1860 not sure where

married jane denley born 1859 in cheltenham glos

married 18/8/1897at st peters church cricklewood london(wilesden )

she is the daughter of joeseph denley born 1834 dursley glos

and emma carter born 1831 dursley glos

they had 10 children

any help would be most usefull

The person I posted on the 1901 is the same as Tempest has posted for the 1911. I took alook at the 1911 and says married 15 years 2 children born and both died by 1911 so marriage years do not fit but not unusual.

it has confused me as the marrage dates are ao differant did they marry twice allso i am trying to find him on census so to trace his birth so am not going down the wrong path

Actually Sally the info on the 1911 says 15 years married, if your people married 1897 that is 14 years....so this could be them.

the namegile/gill is so comon the fathr george uses gill annd john james uses gile it is very clear on his marrage to jane
