Find Ancestors

I am trying to find the date of a marriage that took place in Ontario, Canada between Mary Esther Greene and Stanley Leopold Fowler/George Stanley Leopold Fowler.

Mary lived in Blackburn and Stanley came from Northampton. We have no idea why or when they went to Canada - did they meet in Canada or did they go off to Canada together

When thy returned to England that had 2 son - Lionel born c1917 Toronto and Ivan born c1918 - we think in Quebec.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Travel info for Mary Greene who travelled aboard the Grampian 1914 states she was going to "Brother in law, store keeper, 4yrs in Canada"
Her occupation was telephonist and intended to do the same in Canada

Stanley & Mary Esther must have returned to England before 1921 - they had a son, Jack b1921 [birth registered jun qtr]

They had 2 sons - Lionel and Ivan born in Canada - is there any record of their birth please ?

Hello again Angie, I think the boys births are too recent to show on any on-line index. Canada has much stricter privacy laws than we do so there's not so much info available. For example, the Ontario births only go up to 1913 and I believe some states have a 120 year rule.

I'm sure one of our Canadian researchers will clarify.
