Can someone with full access to the 1911 Census, tell me exactly what my ancestor Joseph Hind was doing / and where he was living at the time the Census was taken ?
Joseph was born in 1897 in Ropsley, Lincolnshire. His parents were Joseph Taylor Hind, and Esther Hind (Jenkinson). By 1911 his father had immigrated to Aust, and his mother was dead. Other siblings had also gone to Australia, apart from two sisters, Sarah and Annie Hind.
Joseph (junr) himself came to Australia in 1912, and enlisted later when War broke out. He was killed in 1917 in France.
I would just like to know more about those last years in England. Thanks in advance. :-)
