Hi again

I am trying to take my Clarke line further back, from the birth of Samuel in 1762 (calculated from age at death - I think!). He was married to Ann (no surname) and they had four children in Epping, Essex. William 1794, Anne 1796, Matilda 1799, and Samuel 1802. Both the girls died as infants. Samuel, the father, died in 1803 in Epping, Essex.

i have not been able to find a birth record for Samuel nor a marriage for them, only burial records, again in Epping, Essex.

Samuel Junior married Mary Ann Gould, who was from Fransham, in Norfolk at Swaffham, Norfolk.

If anyone can help me, I would be most grateful. There is a marriage of Samuel Clarke and Ann Rippingill in a place called Dunton Cum Doughton, Norfolk, but that is in 1825.

This is my paternal line, and I would love to be able to take it further.

Thank you Mike, yes that is the son William, whose dates I have. He also married an 'Ann', but I have no further details on him as yet.
