hi im trying to find any info. on my gt.grandad john delaney born somewere in ireland (unknown) farm labourer married anna murray and came over from ireland on the boat to liverpool during the potatoe crisis to find work with his brothers they all split up and he walked to easingwold (near york) were they set up home and had a family patrick there son was my grandad i would be gratefull for any advise thankyou |

hi im overwelmed by your responses thankyou all so much for your advise and i will purchase the marraige cert. to access the fathers name which hopefully will lead me to locate the area in ireland were he was born as ive been struggling with the irish archieves its true working back instead of forwards has done the trick brillant advise thanks for taking time out to help xxxxxxxxxxx |
