I am looking to find details of my grandmother, I do not have a maiden name, but she was born 9 december 1922 in East Riding, yorkshire. She married a chap called Rhodes, but did not divorce him and had a relationship with Ralph Russell which led to the birth of Colin Russell and Maureen Olive Russell in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. My grandmother passed in harpenden, herts in 1964 under the name of russell.

According to the entry for Maureen's birth, her mother's maiden name was Rhodes! Are you sure she had been married before?

Do you have a date range when the marriage to Mr Rhodes may have taken place? What are the birth years of the children so that we know any marriage took place before then.

Very true Marieceleste lol, but I was looking at it from the point of view that she married and then left him for another man and then had children ;-)

my grandmother was married to another man prior to giving birth to my mum. My mum and uncle are the result of relationship that was out of wedlock! Rhodes was her married name, I do not know what her maiden name was that is why I am seeing if anyone knows of the marriage to Mr Rhodes. Not sure whether Mr Rhodes died or it was result of a divorce.

were Colin and Maureen fairly close together in birth?

Not seeing Colin's birth under Russell / Rhodes>have you any idea of his birth year?

Colin seems to have been born in 1949 according to Amanda's tree (and in London according to Maureen's?)

Where did you get the information from that said Daisy was born on the 09.12.1922. in east Riding.

There is a possible marriage in 1937 in Hull for a Daisy to a chap called Rhodes but that Daisy was born a few years prior to 1922. Can't give details
here as that couple could be alive.
