Can anybody help me trace these people.
William was born in Kettering and married in around 1834 in Kettering to Mary Miller. They had children including George who was born 9/10/1843 also Robert and various girls. They moved to Northampton in around 1842 and George was born at Chapel Place, Kettering Road. In the 1851 census they have a strange surname but it is the correct family and William is down as a musician and shoemaker. There is no mention of George but there is a William born the same year. Are they calling him Will? Same in 1861. In 71 George is living independently. William is in th 81 census still living in Northampton. can anyone help with William or Mary as I can't seem to get back any further.

Thanks to all who replied. I am tracing my family back from Frank Sturgess
(My Grandfather) who was the son of George Sturgess who was born Octocber 1843 in Northampton son of William and Mary Sturgess nee Miller. The most likely family seems to be the one found but there is no George but a Henry who would be the correct age. I wonder if he was called Henry at home instead of george.
