Many thanks to all for your help. Stephen is an elusive character. I will try further searches on 1911 census using wildcards, but if none of you have found him I think I'm not going to be successful. Frustrating!

A google search of layton maunder brings up some info. Death for Charles 1898 Constantinople.

Further info on Patchem's post

His medals were ? requested/received 1921

two addresses given:

8 St James' Terrace, Regents Park

and Constitional Club, Northumberland Avenue, SW1

I suppose he could have been at his club in 1911.

I have not been able to pinpoint 1911 address in my search.

Good evening All
Can't seem to find the above in the 1911 census.
In 1901 (RG13/1142/95/5 he is 15, a pupil at the Rectory, Upper Sulhampstaed Bannister, Berkshire, b Middx, London.
In 1891 (RG12/836/90/17) he is with father George Wm, mother Bertha, siblings Cuthbert L and Charles L, and nephew Roger Arthur Quarmi? in Broadwater, Worthing, W Sussex.
He married Elsie Winifred Cocks in 1919 and died in 1932 in Chelsea.
Any help finding him in 1911, much appreciated
