I am now looking for ancestors, siblings and descendants for John Hickling 1793 Leicester and was Married to a lady called Maria, of whose surname i do not know. I know they were in Melton Mowbrey in 1841, according to census.

No they had no children, they adopted a daughter, and he definately was not 86 when he died, i believe he died in service.

Did they have any children born in this country, so we could identify her maiden name?
