It includes the hamlets of Barmere, Bickley Moss, Bickley Town, Bickleywood, Cross Lanes, Hetherson Green, No Man's Heath (part) and Willey Moor (part).
The population was 435 in 1801, 467 in 1851, 383 in 1901, and 325 in 1951.

I have found him on a few Census, but am confused because some census it states he was born in Bickerton, Cheshire, and others state he was born
in Bickley!!!!

Samuel Davenport was born in 1824/25 at Bickerton in Cheshire.
He had a daughter named Ellen Davenport (born 1865).
I know he married Mary, but I do not know, and cannot find her
maiden surname!!
Please help if you can in finding the maiden name of Mary.
Also the names of any other children apart from Ellen.
