Hi, Yes I have tried to find her in both surnames. after 1901 Census she seems to have disappeared I have followed up various marriages but there are so many for Florence Harding. Being a mixture of both surnames it has been a bit difficult but it seemed to stay as Harding for rest of family thereafter. The sister Sarah who she was working with 1901 Census emigrated to USA 1903 and married. It only leaves Florence who is missing from my research into siblings. Florence was my Grandfather's sister.
I do not believe Florence had a second christian name such as Mabel but sometimes they did add a name as I have found at times. Thank you for your time.

Thanks Susan, Definite possibility, perhaps she changed career. Her parents had passed away 1907/8, family scattered. Will try to check if this address is a shop or Boarding House. Another line of enquiry. I do hope she pops up as one of mine, it has been a long haul over many years. The birthplace of Dulverton is wrong but perhaps Informant guessed.

Birth on Freebmd of a Florence Harding born Dec.1883 at Dulverton so not my Florence again. I wonder what happened to her. No deaths with right age or even near that I could find. Another one spirited away by aliens.

Sorry to be a pest but could someone check on a Florence Harden age 28 born 1883 1911 Census for Epsom, Surrey please. I am clutching at straws but she could have got hold of Birth Cert. for some reason and found she was reg.in name of Harden and moved from Somerset.

Help please. I cannot find a Florence Harden born 1883 in Sussex on Freebmd so a lookup on 1911 Census may give a clue if she could be my Florence and birthplace given wrongly. The only one reg. in 1883 is mine at Bridgwater. Any chance?

Checked the 1911 for the Florence Harden b 1883 in Sussex that person is married so 'Harden' is married name not maiden name.....afraid the search goes on!
