I have a Robert Elliott, only information is born abt 1826 in Notts and his Father was Robert and Mother was Mary, Would some-one please have a look in 1841 and/or 1851 to see if you can locate him for me.

Sorry I pressed wrong button and lost the info I gave, Robert born c 1826 is Father of Albert Elliott born at 1873 Leicester.
I can't find the info that someone gave me, but I think they said Robert's parents were Robert and Mary.
My Robert 1826 married Elizabeth Thompson in 1867.

I've got Elizabeth Thompson, married June qtr 1867 reg at Ashby de la Zouch

I think this is the wrong family as it is a different marriage. This is definitely the Robert Elliott who married Elizabeth Brown in 1866. They had an Albert born in 1873.

1881 census shows Robert 55 born 1826 Notts Ag Lab
Elizabeth 46 born nether Broughton, james 13, Arthur 12, Charlotte 10, Albert 8 Emma 5 and Robert 2. Looks like the same couple as with Annie Brown that you sent does'nt it :-)

this means that he is not the one born in East Leake because he appears in the same 1851 census as Robert and Jane. Unless he was entered as being at work as well as at home. It has been known to happen but he is noted as unmarried so I don't think it can be.
