Mary Booth married Joseph Ashby who died in 1875
I then find her living with William Coates in 1881 but I cant find a marriage till 1896
I havnt found a death for a Maria Coates with the correct age

2 of the Coates children are older than the youngest Ashby child so looks like maybe William was married before too.

and son John is the same age as the John in 1871 with mother Maria
