Find Ancestors

Please can anyone help.I am trying to trace a Zebleath Winter.I know she was born in1875 in Eastington in Gloucestershire as she appears on the 1881 ceusus.Her parents were William & Anne.Then on the 1891 census she has dissapeared and I have come up against a brick wall. I can find no record of her marriage or her death so any one help. It will be much appriciated.

Zebleath looks to me like it could be mangled to or from Elizabeth.
There is an Elizabeth Winter aged 16 in Fownhope, Hereford in 1891 if someone could see if it could be her.

Did you check the image of the 1881 census? That's the only instance of the name with the spelling you are saying is correct.

If you check the later census records for Elizabeth Winter born in Winter Well you will find her. She married William Carter in 1906

So looks as if she was registered as Elizabeth

Since there is no other Zebleath anywhere, anytime on Ancestry I'm sure it's supposed to be Elizabeth. A case of someone with a funny accent saying Elizabeth and the census taker heard Zebleath, probably pronounced Zeblee ath.

The 1891 posted by Reggie is the one I found.
Eastington is very near Northleach so I would think it's the right girl.

Eastington is a hamlet in the English county of Gloucestershire, about 1½ miles southeast of the town of Northleach, with which it forms the civil parish of Northleach with Eastington.
