Yes thats her on the 1871 with her father, she marries David Richmond in 1873, then nothing until NZ married ? to David Young, & a child Quentin born in 1882. I can find no children to David Richmond on Sct people, & no marriage to David Young, strange . David Young was a coal miner so he may have died. Thanks everyone for your help, need to go as husband wants to go shopping.

Hi all the above is correct, they also have a son John Gall b.abt 1825 Dunfermline fife. John married Elizabeth Gowans in 1851 Dunfermline, they had a daughter Johan Gall b.abt 1854, Then John marries Ann Stevenson in 1863, so I assume Elizabeth has died. I cant find Johans birth anywhere, or on any census, also Johan married David Richmond in 1873. I have her marriage cert to him. Then somehow Johan ends up in New Zealand married to David Young from Sct, they have a son born in NZ Quentin Young in 1882. I cant find a marriage by her to David Young He was born abt. 1839 Fife, parents are John Young and Helen Hodgean. Hope this all makes sense

Hi, I'm trying to find out more about a J Gall who was in the 90th Light Infantry (India). (J Gall is on medals) I think his first name is John, I'm helping an elderly gentleman with his family, he has his medals, but we are not sure how he fits into the family. I have a John Gall (b.abt ?) married to Henreitta Stevenson( b.1795 Dunfermline), Fife in Sct, they married in 1826 Dunfermline Fife, John is not on any census, so we wonder if this is him, cant find Henreitta in 1841, she is on 1851 remarried to Andrew Simpson. Are there any records that we can get hold of. Many Thanks
